MACHINED SEALS

CNC Turning Seals

Lathe-cut precision seals with no mold cost — PTFE, PU, NBR, FKM, nylon and POM turned to your drawing. The fast, economical route for prototypes, urgent spares and large diameters that don't justify tooling.

  • ✓No tooling — machined directly from rod, tube and plate stock
  • ✓Large diameters and one-offs economically viable
  • ✓PTFE, PU, NBR, FKM, PA6/PA66, POM — selected by medium, temperature, pressure and friction
  • ✓Tight tolerances held on CNC lathes; every part inspected

TECHNICAL DATA

Materials & Strengths

One process, many engineering plastics — matched to the duty.

MaterialStrength
PTFELowest friction with broad chemical resistance — rotary and static seals
PUOutstanding abrasion resistance for dynamic hydraulic seals
FKMHeat and chemical duty to 200°C+
PA6 / PA66 / POMWear rings, guide rings and back-up rings
NBREconomical oil-resistant seals

Emergency seals for cylinders already in the field.

PROT

Prototyping

Test the design before committing to mold tooling.

BORE

Large-Bore Cylinders

Diameters where molding tooling makes no sense.

PUMP

Pumps & Valves

PTFE and PEEK-type spares for process equipment.

FOOD

Food Machinery

POM and PTFE parts for clean environments.

MNT

Industrial Maintenance

One-off replacements to keep lines running.

COMMON QUESTIONS

CNC Seal FAQ

How large a diameter can you turn?
Large bores are the sweet spot of this process — send your diameter and we will confirm.
How fast can you deliver?
Without tooling lead time, machined seals are our fastest custom route — ask for the current schedule.
How do you choose the material?
By the dominant failure risk: NBR for oil resistance at moderate temperature and low cost; FKM for high temperature or aggressive chemicals; PTFE for low friction, wide temperature and chemical resistance in rotary service; PU for high pressure, impact and severe abrasion. We also build hybrid designs — PTFE sliding elements with elastomer energizers, or back-up rings against extrusion.
