Extrusion FAQ

Sponge or solid — which do I need?

Sponge for soft, low-clamping-force sealing on uneven flanges; solid for higher pressure and fluid contact. We will recommend from your application.

How strong is a spliced joint?

Spliced endless rings are bonded and vulcanized for a durable joint — suitable for static sealing service.

What is the minimum order?

Extrusion runs by length — moderate minimums apply per profile. Coils, cut lengths and spliced rings are all available.

Can you match a sample profile?

Yes. Send a short sample or a cross-section drawing — we cut the die to match.
